The priorities were to give them as much storage as possible because the client cooks a lot and needs a lot of storage space, so to keep the same layout but with better organized storage. I did different layouts and designs to achieve the perfect layout. Favorite part was they were open to using nice materials and willing to pay for it. It gave me room to use nice materials for the project and more freedom for the design. Cons were trying to keep the same pipes in the same location for the plumbing and gas, it wasn't an option to move so it was interfering a little with the design, this was challenging. Mistakes happened when I gave them so many different options for the design and it was not easy for the client to make a decision so it took a lot more time to complete the project, many months passed, even though the client was happy in the end. We used a lot of accessories which was nice for this project so it managed to give a lot of functionality for someone who uses the kitchen a lot so the client was able to use the space very efficiently.
